Small Groups

We invite you to join a small group in our parish. Nobody travels on the journey of faith alone. Small Groups draw adults into transformative friendship with Jesus and with one another. We hope you will connect with others as we gather with Him to live our faith and our lives together. It’s never too late to say “yes” to small groups.

Types of Groups

There are a wide variety of groups with several different days and times available.

  • Gender specific groups like men’s groups and women’s groups.
  • Co-Ed  groups and mixed groups of singles or multigenerational groups, married couples groups
  • Groups with married couples in similar seasons of life
  • Topic focused groups: Some group leaders have a desire to focus on a particular subject area

What to expect

When: In general, groups meet 2-4 times per month based on the small group leader’s discernment as well as group member availability.  Meetings are regularly for one and a half hours, with extended time for those who want to gather longer for fellowship.

6-12 people in each group

What: There are several components of a small group, aside from friendship building and comradery. Each group will include some of the following:

  1. Praise and Thanksgiving
  2. Personal Sharing
  3. Teaching
  4. Discussion about the Teaching
  5. Announcements
  6. Intercessions for those Outside the Group
  7. Healing Prayer for Group Members

Where: Groups meet in a variety of locations.  Preference is given to groups meeting in homes.  However, groups also meet at local establishments or on-site at St. Dominic Church locations.
