Mass Intention

A Mass intention is a specific petition for which the Mass is offered. The graces that come with having a Mass said for a special intention are immeasurable. The Mass unites the Church on earth to the Church in heaven. The intentions of the Mass are lifted by the Body of Christ in its entirety.
Mass intentions can be requested on behalf of another living person—for example, the healing of someone who is sick or to commemorate a special life event, such as a wedding anniversary—or in remembrance of a person who has died.
If you would like to have a Mass offered for or in memory of someone, please call the Parish Office at 507-645-8816 to inquire about available Masses. There is a suggested donation of seven dollars per Mass.

Prayer Request

How can the parish pray for you or your loved one? Individuals' names (first name only, if preferred) will be listed in the bulletin with the request for parishioners prayers. Individuals will also be listed on the Prayer List in The Blessed Sacrament Chapel. There, those who come to pray, along with our Adorers, can know of your prayer intention and offer their prayers for you or your loved one.

St. Dominic Intercessory Prayer Chain

Members of the prayer team pray for the general welfare of the parish and special intentions as they receive them.
Names of people received by the prayer team remain confidential. If you would like us to pray for you or a loved one, please contact Ruth Huber, at 507-581-6096, and Mara Mangan at 507-649-2353.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

This beautiful ministry creates shawls of all colors, shapes and sizes for those who are suffering difficult circumstances and want to wrap themselves in loving warmth and comfort. While knitting or crocheting, those in this ministry pray for the health and healing of the person who will receive the prayer shawl. The shawls are then blessed before being given to a parishioner. If you know someone who is homebound or ill and would like a prayer shawl, you may pick one up in the Parish Office. You or a loved one is welcome to pick up the shawl of your choice at our Parish Office during regular office hours
