Catequesis de Familia is a two-year Spanish spoken sacrament preparation program offered by trained catechists who instructed and prepared the student and their parents in reception of the sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Communion, and Confirmation.
Whole family instruction encouraged all participants to deepen their commitment in being true followers of Jesus Christ by living out the gospel message. The gospel message is the study of salvation history, from the proto-evangelium, the promise of the Savior, spoken by God in Genesis, to the birth of the Church in Acts of the Apostles.
The gospel message is the foundation of sacramental preparation for the family. Parents and students actively participated in religious instruction on Sunday mornings prior to attending Misa.
