St Dominic’s 150th Anniversary Planning Meeting – Our next planning meeting is Monday, June 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the church social hall. Everyone interested in helping make this event a success, come with your energy and your ideas. Let’s make our 150th anniversary celebration one to be remembered.
Cemetery Walk! As a part of our 150th anniversary celebration, on Saturday, August 10, we are planning a cemetery walk. We will share the history of the cemetery, as well as family histories. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to share your family history with the parish, telling stories of your ancestors buried in Calvary. You may even consider dressing in the period dress of your ancestors. If you are interested in sharing your family history at our cemetery walk, contact Sue Hollinger, Chair of the Cemetery Walk at (507) 649-0345, or Rick Nelson at the Parish Office, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Silent Auction – as a part of our 150th anniversary celebration, on Saturday, August 10, and Sunday, August 11, we are planning a Silent Auction. We are looking for businesses, committees and parishioners to donate items for auction. Help us make our silent auction a huge success. If you are interested in donating, contact Lisa Whitlatch, Chair of the Silent Auction, or Rick Nelson at the Parish Office at 507-645-8816. Email Lisa at email@example.com or Rick at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Countdown to 150 Years! Do you have pictures of weddings, baptisms, or other events of the church? Our Parish Outreach Minister, Rick Nelson, is requesting pictures from over the years. Please turn them into Rick, or Lisa Whitlatch, Parish Secretary. Include approximate dates and other information, if possible. Photos will not be returned, so we will gladly receive copies!
