Youth Ministry
Youth Ministry
The teenage years offer many opportunities and challenges to our young people and families. Youth ministry at the Church of St. Dominic exists to help the youth in grades 6-12 follow Jesus, become active in the church and to grow personally and spiritually.*
This takes place first and foremost through the relationships the director of youth ministry and the volunteer core team form with the youth and their families. Youth ministry is all about relationships that point youth to Christ and His Church — through outreach, youth activities and service opportunities in the parish.
Activities consist of weekly gatherings for middle school and high school youth, spiritual opportunities, social activities, service projects and children’s ministry opportunities.
For information on youth ministry, activities and times, contact Matt Blumkin, Director of Youth Ministry, at the parish office, 645-8816 ext. 209.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Children ages 4 through first grade can hear the Liturgy of the Word at their level at the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays. The children go to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel after the opening prayer at Mass and return to take part in the procession at the presentation of the gifts. High school students are welcome to assist in this ministry to our children.
Contact Matt Blumkin, Director of Youth Ministry, at the parish office, 645-8816 ext. 209, to volunteer.
