Advent

As the calendar year 2017 closes, we begin a new liturgical year and await the Nativity of Our Lord.  Please join us not only in our Advent Masses, but also other events to prepare our hearts for Jesus Christ.

Ecumenical Harvest/Thanksgiving Service

The Church of St. Dominic, along with St. John’s Lutheran Church, is once again co-hosting an Ecumenical Harvest and Thanksgiving Service on Wednesday, November 22,  at 6:30 pm at St. Dominic.  We join together to express the unity of all the baptized as brothers and sisters in the family of God and to give thanks for the blessings of another bountiful harvest.

St. John’s has traditionally served up pie after their Thanksgiving service.  St Dominic has served ice cream.  So, following the service, you are invited for fellowship in the social hall for pie and ice cream!

A collection will be taken up with any donations of money or food being given to the Northfield Community Action Center food shelf.
