RCIA
RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a program of formation and catechesis in the Catholic Christian faith. Anyone interested in learning more about the faith is welcome. The program is particularly oriented to those:
- not yet baptized Chrisitans
- baptized members of another Christian denomination wishing to join the Catholic Church
- baptized Catholics not yet confirmed or receiving Communion
RCIA classes begin on Monday, September 14, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. and will be held in the Devney-Hughes Room (lower level of the parish house.) Participants will receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism or Profession of Faith for those already baptized, Confirmation, Eucharist) during the Easter Vigil on April 3, 2010.
