Confirmation Prep

High School Students – Grades 9 and up

During the high school years, the emphasis in Confirmation preparation is for students to encounter the living God in their everyday life. Topics such as “Why Believe in Jesus,” “Insight into the Holy Spirit’s role in our lives,” and “Foundations of Discipleship” provide challenging opportunities to deepen a relationship with God. The two year formation includes small and large group study, service projects, chapel time, retreats and additional faith based activities to prepare for Confirmation. After Confirmation, students are welcomed into the life of the parish. Opportunities include small book groups, volunteering at Mass, or other parish ministries, etc. Learning and Activities Program: LifeTeen Purpose.

Confirmation preparation is open to students entering Grade 9 and older. The two year process begins in the Fall of Year I and is completed in the Spring of Year II. Students entering 2022-24 Confirmation preparation must present a newly issued Baptismal certificate at registration.
