St. Dominic is the spiritual home for the majority of the 2,000 people of Hispanic descent living in Northfield. The community has an active young adult group, baptism and marriage preparation teams, choir, neighborhood scripture reflection and prayer groups. Celebrations and activities of note are:

• Annual celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe (December 12) with Mass, traditional Mexican dance, meal, and Mariachi band
• Bilingual Masses on Holy Thursday, Easter Vigil, and All Souls
• Spanish Mass every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. with food available after Mass
• Sister Parish relationship with San Pedro Apóstol of Maltrata, Mexico
• Organization of an annual visit to Mexico open to all parish members
• Service of Praise and Healing Prayer every other Friday evening
• RCIA offered in Spanish
