St. Dominic is the spiritual home for the majority of approximately 1,500 people of Hispanic descent living in Northfield. The Hispanic community has its own programs of preparation for Baptism, First Communion, Marriage, Confirmation, and RICA. Ministries include several choirs, prayer groups, prison ministry at the state prison in Faribault in conjunction with Divine Mercy in Faribault, hospitality, and sale of food following Sunday Masses. Celebrations and activities of note are:
- Spanish Mass each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
- Our Lady of Guadalupe (December 12)
- Bilingual Masses or services on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil and All Souls
- Sister Parish relationship with San Pedro Apóstol of Maltrata, Mexico, and the Diocese of Orizaba
